Whatever your personal preference is, we’re here to make it happen, so you can begin your wedded journey in the way you love.
The Danube Suite
The Danube Suite can welcome up to 160 guests, but we can also subtly alter it to suit if you’ve got a more intimate wedding in mind.
Large windows line the walls, flooding the room with sunlight and giving you excellent views of the expansive lawns and sparkling fountains that surround the suite. We’ve chosen neutral colours for the decor to bring the best out of your colour scheme, and the chairs come complete with ivory covers and a sash, giving an extra touch of class. And to really make the space your own we have a range of accessories you can use to enhance your personal choices.
The Danube Suite is next to the grand marquee where we serve your wedding breakfast. This makes it easy for you to move effortlessly from one part of your wedding to another, greet your guests and offer pre-dinner drinks and canapés in comfortable surroundings. This ability to stay undercover is always handy if the British weather doesn’t behave according to your wedding plan!
Ceremonies held in our Danube Suite are currently £425.00 (when booked with a wedding reception) or £575.00 for ceremony-only bookings. It’s licenced for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships and all arrangements for your service are made through the Registrar at Deben Register Office, Woodbridge.
Outdoor Weddings
Celebrate your love in our quiet, secluded and exclusive grounds, under the big Suffolk skies. You and your loved ones can enjoy the ceremony surrounded by nature, with the gentle rustle of leaves, the fragrance of blooming flowers and the warmth of the summer sun all adding to your big occasion. We have room for 160 guests and can adapt the decor and surroundings to create the wedding ceremony you desire.
All our outside ceremonies are currently priced at £575.00.
The Victorian Summerhouse
Picture yourself exchanging vows with your loved one in front of our Victorian-style summerhouse by the marquee lawn, with your friends and family around you, warm sun shining through the trees, and with the sound of birds and the scent of summer blooms in the air - it’s incredibly romantic.
The Summerhouse is conveniently on the edge of the reception lawn, and just a short distance from the marquee.
By the Pond
Many couples choose to say their vows beside our ornate pond. The sparkling water fountains, vibrant lily pads and gentle koi carp bring a real tranquil atmosphere to the ceremony, and is perfect for some stunning photos. It’s an ideal place for anyone who wants to get married surrounded by nature.
Under the Oak
Pledge your eternal love under the strong boughs of our ancient oak tree, which has stood in this field for hundreds of years. In the spring and summer months beams of sunlight shine through the leaves giving a beautiful dappled light which adds an almost magical element to the ceremony for couples and guests alike.
Under the Willow
The cascading leaves and swaying branches of our willow tree make a serene and enchanting backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Often associated with resilience and the ability to bend without breaking, the willow is symbolic of a strong marriage, and the willingness to take the journey together and weather the storms of life side by side.
