Complete your perfect day with a wedding reception at Hungarian Hall. Once the seriousness of the ceremony is over, it’s time for you and your partner to relax and celebrate with your loved ones. We’re here to provide the venue, the food, the drinks and help you make it an occasion that everyone can enjoy.

Receptions in the Marquee

Our grand reception marquee venue is set perfectly in the tranquil surroundings of the Hungarian Hall grounds. It’s big enough to seat up to 180 people for your wedding breakfast, though if you’ve got a lot of friends and family you simply can’t do without, we’re able to extend it to accommodate larger parties of up to 400 with additional marquees supplied.

Conversely, If you’re planning a more intimate affair we can be completely flexible and tailor the marquee to suit the size of your guest list, but we suggest a minimum party of 50.

Inside our wedding venue marquee you’ll find separate areas for catering, buffet, bar, as well as a reception area for mingling and greeting your guests.

The bay window of the marquee gives a panoramic view of the grounds and the stunning Suffolk countryside for you and your guests to enjoy - we particularly love the gorgeous sunsets you get in the evening as twilight falls.

French doors lead out onto the formal lawn for photographs, pre -reception drinks and gives your guests a space to mingle and chat before the meal.

When it comes to dressing the venue, our flexibility gives you huge scope. We’re able to match your colour scheme and offer a range of accessories to really make the space your own - from chair covers and tableware to bunting and floral arrangements, our ability to bring your vision to life is one of the strengths of Hungarian Hall.

After everyone has enjoyed the wedding breakfast and speeches, it’s time to party the night away! A reveal curtain is raised for a wow moment, revealing a darkened starlit dance floor, complete with mirror ball, that’s big enough for everyone to show off their groovy moves, dad dancing and death-defying knee slides. We have a raised stage for your band or dj to perform from, with all the electrics and connections to put on an amazing show that will bring everyone to their feet.
