Shubha & Kishan

In August this year we hosted an Asian wedding for 300 guests. Shubha and Kishan, from Ipswich in Suffolk, attended church in central Ipswich for a Roman Catholic ceremony before holding a Hindu ceremony under a marquee on the meadow at Hungarian Hall.

A marquee was erected into the lawn to provide additional seating while guests enjoyed a full Asian style buffet lunch and dinner in the evening. A large marquee canopy suitable to accommodate 300 guests and the Mandap was joined to the dining area via a walkway.

Shubha looked absolutely stunning in all three of her outfits. Firstly in her lace white dress for the church ceremony then after a quick change into a red, gold & cream dress for the Hindu ceremony and into the evening in dark red and purple dress. Caz Narinesingh of Caz Hair & Makeup did an amazing job to complete each of Shubha’s looks. Not to be outdone, Kishan and his groomsmen looked sharp in their blue suits for the church service and after a quick change Kishan appeared in a more traditional cream linen style Asian suit. Into the evening Kishan slipped into a stylish black tie outfit with red/black velvet jacket.

Marcus Curry captured their day brilliantly and, with the help of SoTangy, showcased the venue setup for an Asian wedding.
